9th Berlin Demography Forum 22 March 2021
“The baby boomers are retiring – opportunities and challenges”
Over the next few decades, the last baby boomer cohorts will reach retirement age. As the baby boomer generation enters retirement, there will be challenges in the labour market, pensions, the health system and care, but also opportunities, for example in terms of voluntary work. How are the conditions of the welfare state and democracy in Europe changing as a result of demographic change?
The Berlin Demography Forum 2021 will bring together representatives from science, civil society, politics and business to discuss opportunities and challenges for employers, civil society, families and young people.
